CONTEXT

Senegal’s middle and general secondary education faces demographic pressure, inadequate infrastructure and high internal inefficiency, with elevated dropout and repetition rates. Progress in primary completion, longer compulsory schooling and social aspirations increase demand for accessible quality education.

ADEM II supports strengthening of middle education infrastructure and services so territories can offer better learning conditions for young people.
